Pick 6 is a winner for Tote Tote Ireland's Pick 6 bet is steadily growing in popularity with the Irish racing public and yesterday's Pool and Dividend at Gowran Park will do much to cement that sentiment. Following a series of Rollovers the Pick 6 pool at Gowran Park grew to €183,825 and with 18 winning units the Dividend paid a wallet-bulging €7,148.70. Included amongst the 18 winning units was half a unit for irishracing.com journalist Donal Murphy who netted €3,574.35 for an outlay of €162. With the Pick 6 Dividend declared to a €1 stake that works out at odds of 7,147/1 on the first six winners at Gowran Park. The equivalent bet with bookmakers at SP would have only paid 1,411/1. Due to the success of the Pick 6 Tote Ireland has announced that it will now guarantee the Pools for €100,000 on each day of the Galway Races which begin on Monday 28th July.
