Pipe Chaser Dies On The Gallops John Smith's Grand National entry Bounce Back has died after suffering a spontaneous fracture on Martin Pipe's gallops on Saturday.Pipe's 10-year-old, a former inmate of Francois Doumen's yard, claimed four victories over obstacles with his eight-length success in the Grade Three Attheraces Gold Cup at Sandown in 2002 being the highlight.'Very sadly Bounce Back has passed away,' reported Pipe.'The vets tried very hard to save him.'During his time at Pond House, Bouncer developed into a top-class staying chaser amassing a phenomenal #265,115 in win and place prize money.'The yard are devastated especially his devoted lass Eileen who has always looked after him ? he was one of the stable's stars,' the Nicholashayne handler told www.martinpipe.com.?
