Plans fluid for Maria Connections of Amazing Maria are in no hurry to make plans for the filly who sprang a 25-1 surprise in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot. Trainer David O'Meara is pleased with the way the four-year-old has taken the Group Two contest but has yet to map out a programme with owner Sir Robert Ogden. "She's come out of the race well," said the North Yorkshire handler. "I'm not sure where she'll go next. I'll talk to Sir Robert and see." Amazing Maria, who was a Group Three winner as a two-year-old when trained at Newmarket by Ed Dunlop, was switched to O'Meara during the winter. She had shown signs of returning to her best, having been placed in both her starts this term, before enjoying her finest hour last week.
