The Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes is next on the agenda for Wannabe Better following an impressive display at Killarney on Wednesday.

Tommy Stack's filly finally got off the mark at the ninth attempt when running away with a Naas maiden on her penultimate start.

The victory clearly did her good as she took a step up to Listed class in her stride in the Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes.

She will now step up to Group Three company at Tipperary on October 6.

Stack's son and assistant, Fozzy, said: "We always thought a lot of her, but, for whatever reason, it just took her a while to get her head in front. She won her maiden well and did it well again the other day.

"We're not sure about a mile and a quarter, but she gets the mile well. She's in the Concorde Stakes at Tipperary and that's probably where she'll go next."

Stack also had news of stable star Alive Alive Oh, who has not been seen in competitive action since May having missed multiple engagements this summer on account of fast ground.

"She's had a little break and she's fine. The plan is to run in the Blandford Stakes at the Curragh in a couple of weeks' time (September 14)," said Stack.
