Robson De Aguiar saddled his first winner as a licenced trainer at Dundalk on Friday evening and gave an update on Group 1 Phoenix Stakes winner Power Blue who he now trains.

He said: "We gave him a good break after his win the last time.

"He was a little bit weak and we have given him time, and he has grown and got stronger.

"Hopefully, he has improved from last season.

"He will be a Guineas prospect.

"We have never tried him to see if he stays a mile or not, but we will work on that. If he stays a mile, we go Guineas all the way. If not, we will keep him to six furlongs.

"It could be Leopardstown for a Guineas Trial."

De Aguiar assisted Adrian Murray in training the AMO Racing Limited horses before taking out a licence in his own name.
