Priory Park leads home O'Grady one-two in Limerick nightcap The Edward O'Grady trained Priory Park improved for the step up in trip when staying on strongly to lead home a stable one-two in the concluding Gairdin Glas Handicap Chase at Limerick. A dual winner over hurdles, the nine-year-old had failed to add to those successes in 13 starts under Rules since switching his attention to chasing. However, having landed four point-to-points towards the end of last season, there was little doubt that the gelding was well handicapped if putting it all together. Heading stablemate Ceroc five out, Darragh O'Keeffe made the best of his way home on the well backed 10/3 chance, who stayed on well to beat the latter by two-and-a-quarter lengths. Darragh O'Keeffe, who was completing a double, said: "I thought he'd run a big race as I was unlucky the last day over a shorter distance at Killarney as the second-last fence was omitted and they got away from me. All he seemed to do was stay on and he was up in trip today. "He jumped well, it worked out grand as Philip's horse (Enright, on Ceroc) was jumping left so I let him slip through on the inside. I was able to let him fill up and he seemed to enjoy himself when he got to the front. "Edward sweetened him up in point to points and he has his confidence back."
