Progressive sprinter Osterode (9/2) ran out the easy all-the-way winner of Navan's Racing Festival Advanced Price Tickets On Sale Now Maiden today, scoring for owner/breeder Michael Rosenfeld, trainer Willie McCreery and champion jockey-elect Billy Lee.

Previously runner-up twice in September, the daughter of Profitable today made all the running and scored readily, by 1.25 lengths from Grande Cuvee .

McCreery said "I'm delighted with that and she's from a lovely family. I trained her mother (Ostatnia) and they all take time — Osterode is the same. None of the family do anything until they are four and Billy said she felt much stronger today.

“She will progress next year and could be a black-type filly. We will put her away, let her grow into herself and look forward to her earlyish. I'm delighted for her owner Michael Rosenfeld."

The success moves leader-Lee to 98 wins this season, 20 clear of Colin Keane, with just five meetings left this term.
