Following two dry days, the ground at Punchestown is now yielding, yielding to soft in places (Hurdle) and yielding to soft, soft in places (Chase).

It's set to stay dry today and the first of seven races gets under way at 12.35.

For the hurdle races, the inside track will be used on the first circuit, then finishing on the main track.

The 2024 Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner Slade Steel steps up to three miles in the opener as he bids to get off the mark over fences, while the conditions hurdle at 2.05 is an intriguing contest featuring the evergreen Ballyadam smart chasers El Fabiolo and Spillane's Tower as well as Morgiana Hurdle runner-up Glen Kiln
