Tom Queally aims to be back in the saddle at Yarmouth tomorrow after suffering a freak injury on Monday morning.

Lady Cecil's stable jockey was caught in the eye by a horse when riding out for Newmarket trainer John Butler.

Queally, who will always be linked with the brilliant Frankel, has given up his rides at Yarmouth today after having the injury checked out at hospital.

He did not plan to ride on Monday as he attended the memorial service for Sir Henry Cecil at Ely Cathedral.

"He sustained an accident at Johnny Butler's when a horse lashed out and caught him in the eye," said Queally's agent Tony Elves.

"It's only soft tissue damage and he'll be back tomorrow. He's only taking today off as a precaution."
