Queally relies on Memories at Listowel John Queally, a man not unfamiliar with success at the Harvest festival at Listowel, will only field one runner at the County Kerry track next week. Trainer of multiple Grade One-winning hurdler Al Eile, Queally was on the mark at Listowel in 2015 with the Ruby Walsh-ridden Uncle Danny, but that Catcher In The Rye gelding won't be ready for a repeat bid. Uncle Danny has a point-to-point, bumper and maiden hurdle win to his name, but he didn't run up to expectations when beginning over regulation fences at Punchestown in May. "He doesn't run at Listowel. He's fine but he just won't be ready for there. He'll stay over fences now and I'll hopefully have him out again in about six weeks," said Queally. "The only horse that I'll run there is a horse that won down there two years ago - Memories Of Milan." Memories Of Milan won the three-mile Devon Inn Hotel Handicap Hurdle on the Thursday of Listowel 2014 and has been without a win, though lightly raced, since. Returned off a 502-day break this year, Queally's charge, now a 10-year-old, has been performing well enough recently to be considered a contender next time.
