Quevega set for Solwhit clash Solwhit and Quevega remain on course for a mouthwatering clash in the Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle at Punchestown. The pair feature among the initial entries for the April 25 contest. Quevega has won the last three runnings of the Grade One contest and remarkably landed the OLBG David Nicholson Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham for a fifth time last month. However Solwhit will be a tough nut to crack having landed the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Cheltenham before running away with the John Smith's Liverpool Hurdle. Jonjo O'Neill's Hollywell was second behind Solwhit at Aintree and is set to reoppose while a strong contingent from Britain also includes the Paul Nicholls-trained Celestial Halo, who was second to Solwhit at Cheltenham. The David Pipe-trained Grands Crus, Reve De Sivola from Nick Williams' stable, Captain Sunshine (Emma Lavelle), Medinas (Alan King) and Menorah (Philip Hobbs) complete the raiding party.
