Adrian Murray's Quickshot made it back-to-back Dundalk victories in the Bookings Open For Christmas Parties Handicap over an extended 10-furlongs.

The Uncle Mo three-year-old delivered by a length over a mile and a-half in July, but it was much tighter this evening.

This season's leading jockey conjured a sustained finish along the near rail on the 3/1 favourite to get up and collar Harry The Rogue (9/1) by a neck. Nocturnal (9/1) was three-parts of a length back in third.

Dylan Browne McMonagle said: "It was a big ask (off 10lb higher) in fairness for him to go and do that.

"He got a pound or two for winning and then the second horse (Dancing Steve in July) came and won since which gave him a big hike.

"Coming back in trip, I felt like we went a good, even gallop and he got that trip well. He will be a better horse going back up to a mile and a-half, I think. He handles the surface.

"I did come out but when I did come out, I didn't really have much of a choice. He was a bit lonely, so I had to bring him across to Sam (Coen, Harry The Rogue) just to give him a bit of company. When I did get to him, then he was always going to get the better of him.

"He did it well at the line."

This moved Browne McMonagle five winners clear of the current champion Colin Keane.
