Racing fraudster on the loose again A well-known impersonator of racing personalities and con-man has struck again having recently been released from prison. Top apprentice Gary Carroll has suffered at the hands of the Kildare serial fraudster and he explained this afternoon: "My car was stolen on Tuesday morning. I reported it and the guards are trying to find it now. "I think my keys fell out of my pocket as I was getting up on a horse and the guards are fairly certain that they know who took the car. He was spotted in Kilkenny yesterday. "He impersonates jockeys, he was in a pub and he was saying that his name was Leighton Aspell. He was in the gym in Hotel Kilkenny and he had Shane Foley's bag which had been in my car. He was in a pub down there too saying his name was Leighton Aspell and he had a whip belonging to Ben Curtis that was in my car as well and he gave it to the lads in the pub. "The guards are on the case and it is just a matter of trying to find him now. He has done it a number of times to a lot of people. "As far as I know he only got out of jail last Friday. "My car is a silver Skoda Octavia, registration number 05-KE-11798."
