Rain continues to ease Thurles going The going has eased further at Thurles following rain this morning at the Tipperary track. The ground is now heavy on the chase track and soft to heavy on the hurdle and bumper course. The track received 6.2mm of rain overnight and was described as soft, soft to heavy in places on the hurdle track and soft to heavy on the chase course first thing this morning. There has also been a slight ease in conditions at Punchestown ahead of their two-day fixture this weekend. The ground there is now soft, soft to heavy in places from the original description of soft. Cork race on Sunday and the ground there is now soft to heavy, heavy in places on the chase track and soft, soft to heavy in places on the hurdle course. The Mallow track has had 20mm of rain in the past 24 hours. The forecast is for wet and windy weather today and tomorrow.
