Recharge set to take on Fame And Glory Kevin Prendergast admits Recharge has plenty on his plate as he locks horns with Fame And Glory in the High Chaparral EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh tomorrow. The latter enjoyed a fantastic 2009 campaign, producing a brilliant performance in the Irish Derby and finishing second to wonder horse Sea The Stars in the English equivalent and in the Irish Champion Stakes. Recharge also tested the water at the highest level, finishing fourth in the Irish Guineas and fifth in the Irish Derby. Fame And Glory was a disappointing third on his seasonal reappearance in the Alleged Stakes, while Recharge was far from disgraced in finishing runner-up to the classy Famous Name. "Recharge has his chance, although Fame And Glory is obviously going to be hard to beat if he produces last year's form," said Prendergast. "He's rated 128 and we're rated 109, so I'm just hoping our horse can run a good race. This will determine where we go with him, so we'll see how he gets on." Just five runners are set to go to post in the Group Three contest, with Dixie Music, Galileo's Choice and Popmurphy completing the field.
