Top-weight Refreshment gave Mark Fahey an across-the-card double when he powered home in the concluding mile handicap at Cork.

The 5/1 was well back in the field turning for home, but started to pick off rivals with a couple of furlongs left.

He was particularly strong a furlong and a-half down and came to swallow up You Are Mine and Vilhova inside the final furlong.

The Kodi Bear gelding soon went on by two lengths for the Refreshment Partnership. Market-mover You Are Mine (7/1) had to settle for second in front of Vilhova (12/1) with Great Mover (9/2f) back in fourth.

Fahey struck with 7/2 favourite I Bid You Ajou in race three at Fairyhouse.

Winning-jockey Gavin Ryan said: "Prior to winning the last day, he had been ridden more forward and without any headgear which wasn't suiting. We took a chance by dropping him right out the last day with blinkers on and it was a very similar performance today.

"I rode him for luck the last day, did the same today and the very, very strong gallop helped. There was burnout and a pace collapse at the two furlong pole and I was able to get to the front very easy. He ran out a good winner."

Refreshment followed up on a victory at Leopardstown last week.
