Successful over fences on her last visit here, the Philip Dempsey trained Killinure Lass reverted to hurdling to land the Tramore Racecourse On Instagram Handicap Hurdle.

Held up in rear by Jordan Gainford, the 10/1 chance made ground on the outside into mid division after jumping the third last.

Coming through to challenge Silent Selector at the penultimate flight, the mare led before the last, keeping on strongly to score by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

Philip Dempsey said: "She does (like it at Tramore), she's always run well around here. She won here in May and was caught on the run-in another day.

"We've no grand plan with her, we'll pick something out in a couple of weeks. She is probably better over hurdles than she is over fences. She wants smallish fences as she's not in love with them and just jumps a bit to the right.

"She is an eight-year-old mare and has done a good bit of winning.

"Thomas (Austin - owner) isn't here, he got knocked down in the ring at Roscommon and hurt his leg. He was lucky it wasn't worse and he's on the mend."
