Ricci hoping Djak will go for John Durkan Owner Rich Ricci is eager to see Djakadam attempt to win the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase for a third successive year. The December 10th event has proved a happy hunting ground for the Willie Mullins-trained eight-year-old, who was last seen when being beaten just a short head by Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Sizing John at the Punchestown Festival back in April. Djakadam has kicked off his last two seasons in the two-and-a-half-mile Punchestown race and Ricci would be keen to have another go this year. "He seems to like the race. I'd love to see him go for that. He likes the course and ran a cracker at Punchestown," he told At The Races. "That will probably be his target."
