Rocco to tackle Christmas Chase Jonjo O'Neill has confirmed Minella Rocco an intended runner in the Leopardstown Christmas Chase on Thursday. Last season's Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up has been disappointing in two starts so far this season, most recently pulling up in handicap company at Cheltenham in November. However, he was in the process of running a big race on his only previous visit to Leopardstown when unseating his rider at the final fence in the Irish Gold Cup. O'Neill said: "Minella Rocco is going to go for the Lexus (Leopardstown Christmas Chase). "He seems in grand old form at home and he is schooling nicely, so everything is going the right way."
