Rock scoped badly after Hennessy run

China Rock "scoped badly" on Monday morning after finishing fifth in Sunday's Hennessy Gold Cup.

The gelding had faded in the closing stages of the Grade One contest after racing prominently.

Trainer Mouse Morris revealed today that his charge will now head straight to Cheltenham.

Morris had given the the nine-year-old an entry for Saturday's Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park before the results of the scope.
