Rockfel On Beo's Agenda

Jim Bolger's Prix Marcel Boussac heroine Finsceal Beo is set to make a quick reappearance in the ?In The Pink' Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket next Saturday.

Having been settled throughout the early stages in the Longchamp contest, the daughter of Mr Greeley was produced by Kevin Manning to lead approaching the final furlong before powering five lengths clear of her nearest pursuer Darrfonah.

Despite her recent victory coming over a mile, Finsceal Beo will step down in trip to seven furlongs for the upcoming Group Two test, for which she will be burdened with a 4lb penalty after her top-flight success last time.

While Bolger has suggested she is more than likely to take her chance at Headquarters, he has also warned that unbeaten colt Teofilo, currently a best-priced 4-1 for next year's 2000 Guineas, is far from a certain runner in the Darley Dewhurst Stakes on the same card.

'She's in great form and we're looking at the Rockfel now. She doesn't seem to mind the ground, but if it's heavy at Newmarket then Teofilo wouldn't run in the Dewhurst,' he told the Racing Post.
