Rokanko Delivers for the Kings at Kilbeggan The James King-trained Rokanko (3/1) landed the spoils for jockey P.A. King as he was a comfortable winner of the Follow Kilbeggan on Instagram Flat Race. The well-supported Madison Twist made the running throughout, but Rokanko made a race-winning move before two out and he asserted clear in the closing stages to run out a comfortable winner for the King team. Speaking to the media after the race, rider P.A. King said: “He travelled sweetly, I got there way too soon. “We don’t have the horse too long. He did a couple of nice bits of work at home. “We thought he’d improve plenty for the run but it did look like a nice winnable opportunity. “I think he’s a horse that will win plenty of races. He might actually be able to drop back and win on the Flat, he’s quick. “He loves good ground and he’s a nice horse.” (Quotes from Gary Carson)
