Roper's Sekakarma gives O'Keeffe a quick double Having won the first division of Wexford's Treo Eile Handicap Hurdle on Boola Times, Darragh O'Keeffe quickly doubled up on 10/3 favourite Sekakarma in the second split of the two-and-a-half mile contest. In front early, the Hillstar gelding then settled in behind the leaders and was driven to regain the initiative after the last to beat Tantrum Boy by half a length. Placed on his previous two starts, the nine-year-old was a first victory for absent owner/breeder/trainer Mark Roper since Play The Part won at this track in July 2018. “It was a nice performance. Mark rang me last night and said keep it nice and simple," said O'Keeffe.  “We did that, got into a good rhythm jumping. We got a nice run off the home bend, jumped the last two hurdles really well, and battled well to the line.” When asked if it was the plan to grab the inside, he added “Any time you can get it, it’s a plus.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
