THE Turf Club has announced that there is to be an 8.30 a.m. course inspection at Roscommon on Monday, 1st September ahead of that afternoon's scheduled fixture due to an unfavourable weather forecast in the area over the coming 24 hours. The course is currently raceable and the ground has been described as heavy.

Due to ground conditions on the lower bend, the maximum number of runners in all flat races has been reduced to 12 and in all national hunt races to 14.
