Ruby Walsh Back On The Move Champion Jockey Ruby Walsh is already back driving having enlisted the help of Motability Ireland while he recovers from the leg break he suffered at Punchestown last month. The top jumps jockey suffered the injury aboard Let’s Dance at the fourth-last flight of the Frontline Security Grabel Mares Hurdle at Punchestown on 18th November and is hopeful of a return to the saddle in advance of the Cheltenham Festival in March. Motability Ireland have fitted Hand Controls to Ruby’s car allowing him to stay mobile while he recovers from his injury. Hand Controls allow the driver to operate the brake and accelerator pedals without the use of their legs. This will enable Ruby to remain mobile in his car during his extended period of recovery. Motability Ireland based in Ashbourne County Meath is Ireland’s leading provider of car adaptations for disabled drivers and passengers.
