Adam Ryan continues to impress and the 5lb claimer was seen to good effect in the concluding bumper at Wexford when partnering Minella Jury (7/1) to a short-head success over the Harry Swan-ridden Riskaway

The latter, sent off 10/11 favourite, went to the front on the approach to the straight but Ryan covered the move on his mount.

The front pair had a good tussle inside the final furlong with Minella Jury getting up in the final stride to land the spoils.

Owned and trained by John Nallen, the five-year-old had finished second in his first two starts at Downpatrick and Fairyhouse.

"He's a good horse and has a good pedigree," said Nallen.

"He is a lucky horse. I ended up with him by mistake. I bought another horse and was left with the wrong one!

"Hopefully I'll sell him on now. I said to Henry (de Bromhead) would I bring him home or leave him here for him!

"The harder you try to sell, the harder it is to sell. When you don't try, you get them sold!

"I wouldn't mind running him over hurdles though. If no one wants him, I'll keep going with him.

"All those Jukebox Jury's are tough, they don't know when they are beaten. He wants to do it."
