Sandown inspect, Sedgefield off Sandown's Saturday fixture will have to pass a 7.30am inspection if it is to go ahead. Although the Esher venue is currently raceable, substantial rainfall is forecast overnight and clerk of the course Andrew Cooper is keeping his fingers crossed they get the bottom end of the estimated amount. Sunday's meeting at Sedgefield has been abandoned due to frost. The course was hit by some snow this morning, but the real issue was the overnight frost which curtailed a recent thaw.
