Saturday 2,000 down on last year Crowd figures for Saturday at Galway showed just over 2,000 less through the gates for this year's meeting. 14,323 attended today as opposed to 16,353 on the same day last year, a drop of 2,030. The Tote Aggregate showed a drop from 610,816 in 2008 to 532,142 this year. The Bookmakers held 27% less than last year. There holdings were €1,506,253 compared to €2,074,136 in 2008.
