Saturday's Form Horse: Sean O'Keeffe on Thedeviluno's chances Thedeviluno bids to make it 2/2 over hurdles as he lines up in the 1:10 at Navan Racecourse on Saturday, with connections hopeful the promising six-year-old can take another forward step. The son of Elusive Pimpernel made an impressive debut over obstacles at Gowran Park on the 8th of November, scoring by two-and-a-half lengths in a competitive maiden hurdle. Excellent form boost That form has since received several boosts, with the second Skylight Hustle coming out to win in Fairyhouse by 21 lengths and third home, The Passing Wife, finishing a close third in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle. Tomorrow represents a significant rise in class but O'Keeffe is particularly optimistic ahead of the assignment. Speaking to irishracing.com, O'Keeffe said: "Thedeviluno goes to Navan on Saturday. He's in really good form at home. The race in Gowran has worked out really well with the second coming out and winning impressively in Fairyhouse, and the third running a great race last week in the Royal Bond. So the race looks like it's working out well. It wasn't a bad maiden. "He's stepping up in grade, but I think the trip and the ground should suit him. He should have improved a bit from Gowran as well. So look, it's a big step up, but he's a nice horse, and I'm really looking forward to riding him.”
