The ‘Leger’ is one of four Group 1 races on this eight-race card beginning at 1.45, and Moore also partners hot-favourite Sun Goddess for Aidan O’Brien in the Moyglare Stud Stakes. Star Of State is yet another hot-pot for Moore in the valuable Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes, while Joseph O’Brien also supplies the favourite in the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes with impressive course maiden winner Monogram. Joseph’s younger brother Donnacha holds strong claims in the other Group 1 race on the card, the BAR 1 Betting Flying Five Stakes, with Commanche Brave. Billy Loughnane is again on board after the pair landed the July Cup last time at Newmarket. Following 5mm of rain on Friday night and a warm, dry, breezy day yesterday, the going is now yielding, good in places (Straight course) and good, yielding in places (Round course).
