Sedgefield Gets Go Ahead This afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield will go ahead as planned after the course passed a morning inspection. Course officials inspected the track at 0830 GMT and after a milder than expected night found conditions raceable. Clerk of the course Charlie Moore said: "Racing goes ahead. "It got down to about minus two last night and it is just above freezing now. "We are expecting temperatures of between four and six degrees so there is no danger that the frost will still be in the ground by the time of the first race."
