Sedgefield gets the okay This afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield goes ahead after the track passed a second inspection. Officials had initially planned to check conditions at 7.30am, but they pushed back that assessment until 8.30am to allow for sunrise. That first check proved inconclusive though, with clerk of the course Sophie Barton able to give the go-ahead following a second 10am check. There is Irish interest at the meeting with Keith Watson running Finea in the Weatherbys Bank Chase.
