Shanahan hoping for better from Drummore Pat Shanahan is hoping that outsider Drummore Road can give a good showing in the Betfair Cash Out Dee Stakes at Chester on Friday. The colt has been well held in two maiden starts this term but his trainer believes the son of The Carbon Unit is capable of much better. Shanahan said: "He badly needed the run at Leopardstown on his first start, and then he ran in probably one of the best maidens of the year (at Gowran). "He's a good horse, though, and has been showing us plenty at home."
