Shattered Love bids to follow up Cheltenham success at Fairyhouse Cheltenham Festival heroine Shattered Love will face eight rivals in a Ryanair Gold Cup made up entirely of runners from the title-chasing yards of Gordon Elliott and Willie Mullins. The Elliott-trained Shattered Love was a comprehensive winner of the JLT Novices' Chase at Prestbury Park and turns out less than three weeks later to bid for her third Grade One success of the season. The Cullentra handler, who currently holds a big lead over Mullins in the race to be crowned this season's champion National Hunt trainer in Ireland, also saddles The Storyteller, who claimed the Brown Advisory & Merriebelle Stable Plate at Cheltenham, as well as Tombstone and Tycoon Prince. Mullins fires a five-pronged assault in a bid to win the Fairyhouse prize for the first time. Invitation Only was pulled up in the JLT after making a serious error four fences from home, while Al Boum Photo looked booked for third place in the RSA Insurance Novices' Chase when falling at the second-last. Both attempt to bounce back, while Mullins also runs course winner Saturnas, Montalbano and Up For Review.
