Shaun McManus Fund Raising Evening At The Dunraven Arms Hotel On Sunday 7th May the Dunraven Arms Hotel once again were delighted to host the National Hunt Awards Ceremony. Among the guests were renowned trainers and jockeys including Noel Meade who won trainer of the year and Ruby Walsh who won jockey of the year.Minister John O?Donoghue and Senior NH Steward William Flood receiving the cheque on behalf of Shaun McManus from Louis and Bryan Murphy.The highlight of the evening was the presentation by Louis and Bryan Murphy of a cheque of ?92,000 for the injured jockey Shaun MacManus. This money was raised by the Dunraven Arms at a very successful pre-Cheltenham evening and auction in March. As Louis Murphy explained, 'The night was such a success due to the racing industry?s generosity in helping one of their own'
