Siskin is back from his holidays and delighting Ger Lyons' team with his physical development.

The American-bred colt made a huge impression in remaining unbeaten after four appearances in his juvenile campaign.

He progressed through the ranks to win at Listed, Group 2 and Group 1 level at the Curragh.

After winning the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes in August, hopes were high that he could repeat the feat in the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket the following month, however, he was withdrawn after getting restless in the stalls.

Assistant trainer Shane Lyons said: “He (Siskin) looks great. He’s grown and has filled out. He’s just back from his holidays and we couldn’t be happier.

“He’s cantering away now and physically we couldn’t be happier with him. We’re excited.”
