Skyace set for Hatton's Grace bid Co Carlow trainer John ‘Shark’ Hanlon is looking forward to seeing his stable star Skyace back in action. He has mapped out a plan for the season for his six-year-old mare and says her starting point will be the Grade 1 Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday. "She ran there only two weeks ago and she needed the run which we knew she did. I said I was very happy with her jumping just after getting a fall on her second-last run before that (in the Grade One mares' champion hurdle at Punchestown). I just wanted to give her a nice easy thing back into it for the year," the trainer said. "She will go for the Hatton's Grace - it is going to be a very good race if they all turn up in it. She's a tough little divil and she never lets me down. "We'll go for the Hatton's Grace and probably Leopardstown at Christmas, and hopefully then the two and a half at Cheltenham in March. That's the plan for her."
