Sky's The Limit Given Drinmore Aim

Edward O'Grady is refusing to get carried away with Sky's The Limit's impressive recent victory at Cork.

The former Coral Cup winner was sent novice chasing last year without success, but he now has more experience than most in that sphere.

And he put it to good use, beating previous winner Call Bewleys on the bridle by nine lengths last time ? a performance that prompted O'Grady to aim the grey at the Grade One Ballymore Properties Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse on December 2.

'He looked good but that could have been a bit over-hyped as I think the favourite (Call Bewleys) was a bit over-hyped on the day,' said O'Grady.

'The favourite is obviously a good horse but didn't run up to his mark on the day and was giving us 6lb, so all in all it was probably an ordinary race.

'It was his first win since the Coral Hurdle and it was the sort of comeback we wanted ? he came home with a nice taste in his mouth after it.

'I'm hoping to run him in the Drinmore next,' he told At The Races.
