Slattery has high hopes for Parnell Andy Slattery is predicting a bright future for Parnell Street after his promising debut run at Fairyhouse last month. The Elusive Pimpernel gelding chased home De Temps En Temps on his racecourse bow but won’t be seen again this season after picking up a minor injury. Slattery has Listowel in mind for the five-year-old in September and believes he can only improve on his initial effort. "He’s a lovely horse,” said the Tipperary handler. "He had a little bit of an injury so he won't run until Listowel next season - it is only a small injury, but he will be alright. "The owner wants to sell him, so he is for sale. He will be a lovely horse for someone down the line. "I think he is only a skin of a horse, I think he will improve - he is 16.3hh. "He is a brilliant jumper." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
