Soft ground blamed for poor Kris Kin showing. Connections of Epsom Derby winner Kris Kin have blamed the soft ground conditions for the colt´s defeat in yesterday´s Prix De L´Arc de Triomphe.Kris Kin trailed in second last in the French showpiece, and although hampered by eventual fourth Doyen entering the straight, he finished tailed off with jockey Kieran Fallon stating 'He didn´t like the ground and was never going.' He added 'I knew from the start that he was never going to be invloved, but I also got wiped out at the top of the hill by Doyen.'Kris Kin´s future has not yet been decided, with trainer Sir Michael Stoute confirming 'we were always going to wait until the Arc and then have a chat about it.'
