Sound surface the key to Clancy plans Clancy Avenue will go chasing another big-money pot after his fine run at Newmarket for Tommy Stack. The three-year-old colt chased home Zanetto in the £100,000 Tattersalls Millions Sprint, and a big prize at Naas could be next on his agenda. "He ran a great race in the sales race - we were very happy with him," said Stack's son and assistant, Fozzy. "We'll see where we go next with him. We might run him in a three-year-old handicap at Naas if the ground is OK. "If not, I don't know where we'll go, maybe one of those Listed races in England or France - a three-year-old-only one. The bottom line is that he just needs a sound surface." Stablemate Scream Blue Murder was second to Maarek recently and looks set to head to England for her next race. "Scream Blue Murder ran a super race," said Stack. "It's not easy for three-year-old fillies. We'll give her a speculative entry for the Palace House Stakes there at Newmarket. "We'll see, but otherwise she could go for a Listed fillies' race at Nottingham (Kilvington Fillies' Stakes). We'll see about the Palace House and make a plan then after that. "She's fairly versatile when it comes to ground. She ran well first time out as a two-year-old on good ground. I have a feeling even that she might be better on good ground. "I thought she'd run a nice race at Naas but it's very hard for a three-year-old filly taking on those older sprinters. She performed well and I couldn't be happier with the race she ran."
