Royal Ascot winner Pique Sous has returned to training after recovering from injury.

The talented grey looked set for a profitable campaign after claiming the Queen Alexandra Stakes in the hands of Ryan Moore, but a subsequent hairline fracture ruled him out of intended appearances in the Galway Hurdle and the Ebor at York.

Connections are unsurprisingly delighted the seven-year-old has now fully recovered and are looking forward to seeing him return to action next year.

Steve Massey, racing manager for owners the Supreme Horse Racing Club, said: "Pique Sous is back in training earlier than we hoped which is tremendous news for all of us and a nice surprise."
