Spencer In Line for Heroine Leger Ride Jamie Spencer is likely to get the leg-up on leading fancy Unsung Heroine in the Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster next month. Regular pilot Wayne Lordan received a three-day suspension at Tipperary on Thursday night and will be sidelined from September 11 to 13, which means he would miss the Classic unless a successful appeal is lodged. Fozzy Stack, son and assistant to trainer Tommy, said: "Unsung Heroine is in good form and the St Leger is still very much the plan. Unfortunately, Wayne looks likely to miss the ride, but we have spoken to Jamie and he is now likely to ride her at Doncaster."
