Trainer Ado McGuinness bagged a winner for his yard sponsors today, as Land Of The Giants (13/2) landed the opening division of Navan's 0-60 mile handicap for owner Batt O'Sullivan.

The four-year-old son of Calyx had previously scored his maiden success at Ayr in May and today followed up again under jockey Adam Caffrey, when scoring by 1.25 lengths from Spritiofthedawn .

McGuinness reported “I'm delighted as he belongs to my yard sponsor James O'Sullivan who is a great supporter of mine, as was his dad Bart before him. Bart started me off and introduced me to the Dooleys (owners). It means a lot to have this winner.

“Adam was good on him, he got a lovely ‘possy', so I couldn't complain. He was back down in that grade having been running in 0-70s, and sometimes coming back is easier for them.

“He'll definitely go to Laytown now for something.”
