Story to continue in Irish National

Trainer Michael Hourigan reports his A New Story in fine form following his Cheltenham heroics.

The 12yo gelding recorded his sixth career win when taking the Glenfarclas Corss Country Handicap Chase at Cheltenham last week and Hourigan reported "A New Story is in fine form following his win and the plan now is to run in the Irish National."

He adds "it was his first win for five years (Cork National in November '05) and the plan is to give him one run over hurdles before running in the Irish National, where he finished third last year."

A New Story provided 17 year old Adrian Heskin with his first Cheltenham win, on just his first ride at the festival.
