Freddie Head's brilliant filly Moonlight Cloud will face 11 opponents as she aims to secure her third Group One prize of the campaign in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Sunday.

After making a winning return at Longchamp in early July, the five-year-old landed the six-and-a-half-furlong Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville, beating Lethal Force, before turning out just a week later to clinch the Prix Jacques le Marois over a mile.

She will be a hot favourite as she tackles the intermediate distance of seven furlongs in Paris this weekend, but she does face a formidable Irish challenge.

Last year's winner Gordon Lord Byron defends his title and could hardly be in better form having run out a most impressive winner of the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock for trainer Tom Hogan.

He is joined on the trip from Ireland by Eddie Lynam's smart filly Viztoria, winner of the Park Stakes at Doncaster, and Aidan O'Brien's Gale Force Ten.

The Richard Fahey-trained Garswood and Intense Pink from Chris Wall's stable are the two British-trained runners in the line-up.

Other contenders include Style Vendome and the supplemented Anodin.
