Sudir Runs Middle Park Gauntlet A quality field of 13 runners will go to post for Saturday's vision.ae Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket which sees Sudirman tackle the six-furlong Group One, rather than run over further in the Dewhurst. David Wachman's youngster has already won the Railway and Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh before finishing second to Richard Hannon's Toormore in the National Stakes. Aidan O'Brien runs the promising Great White Eagle, unbeaten in two starts and winner of the Round Tower Stakes on the second of those outings. Kevin Ryan holds a very strong hand, with the Gimcrack winner Astaire and last Saturday's hugely impressive Cornwallis scorer Hot Streak travelling down from his Hambleton base. Joining him on the trip from the north is the Richard Fahey-trained Supplicant, winner of his last three races, including the Mill Reef. Hannon runs the durable Brown Sugar and Shamshon, while Olly Stevens supplemented Green Door earlier in the week. Bahamian Heights, Jallota, Justice Day, Saayerr, and Speedfiend compete the field.
