Suzie Songs gets back on track The Ger Lyons-trained Suzie Songs (2/1) got back on the scoresheet in the finale at Naas. The Paddy Twomey-trained Phenomenal Filly took up the running, but the daughter of Starspangledbanner was much too good in the end, gaining the third victory of her career by 1¼ lengths. Speaking after the race, trainer Ger Lyons said: "She's a frustrating girl. Obviously, her two-year-old form is phenomenal but we lost her. She's a bigger girl now. She's done a lot of growing. Whether it was the growing and everything in between. We have that bit on her. It's not ideal because it doesn't help them out of the stalls. But that's good. I wouldn't get carried away, we are still a work in progress. "We've all the black type in the bag. Will we win black type more? We are getting there. Let's see how she comes out of this.
