Tannery Park makes it a brace for Connell and Flanagan Tannery Park stayed on well to annex the FBD Handicap Hurdle in Ballinrobe and gave Barry Connell and Sean Flanagan a double on the card. The 9/1 shot wasn't foot perfect in behind the leaders over two out and was pushed along in fifth approaching the home bend. Flanagan improved him into third at the last and the Golden Horn gelding came with his challenge in second in the home straight. He picked off Boston Jury in the closing stages and ran on by some three and three-quarter lengths. Ladiam (13/2) came in second just ahead of Boston Jury (7/1) while Tomas O Maille (12/1) finished fourth. “It was his first run for a long time in Cork. I thought turning in he was going to win, but then he blew up and then stayed on,” said Connell. “He definitely gets that trip, but I wouldn’t be worried about two-and-a-half. I’d say he just took the run in Cork. “He’s a fun horse, he was rated 91 there and hopefully he’ll stay in the 100 grade. “He has a nice rating on the Flat, I think he is 45. He should be a good fun summer horse and we’ll mix it between hurdles and the Flat. “He’s a tiny little horse and will go around on any of those tight tracks.” Connell and Flanagan also landed race three through Net Boy.
