TBA backs Go Racing deal Following a meeting yesterday evening, the Thoroughbred Breeders` Association has voted to support the British Horseracing Board`s stance over the Go Racing contract for racing`s media rights.A statement today read: 'The council is delighted and relieved that the Go Racing contract has been brought back from the brink and ratified by the BHB.'We believe that it represents a balanced deal for all sectors of racing and gives the BHB an excellent platform to negotiate with the bookmakers, so that all of us can increase racing`s share of the leisure pound.'Much credit goes to Peter Savill and, contrary to some other opinions, the TBA recognises the role of Christopher Spence in facilitating the deal.'
